Daily wear and tear can take a toll on your flooring. To maintain Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT) flooring, regular stripping and waxing or polishing is crucial to preserve its appearance and longevity, protecting against scratches and scuffs.  Restorative cleaning, like a strip and refinish, is necessary when daily and periodic cleaning are insufficient. VCT flooring, while durable, requires regular maintenance to maintain its shine and protect against wear and tear.  We first strip the wax using commercially approved industrial stripping solutions. The floor is then neutralized and coated with the recommended amount of coats of high-polymer floor finish. 

1. Walkaround: We begin by inspecting your floor to determine the best cleaning methods and solutions. We locate all entry/exit ways to later caution tape off.
2. Stripper Treatment: A specialized floor stripping solution is applied in sections at a time allowing it to activate in just a few minutes, then worked with machines followed by a mop bucket or buckets with a neutralizer solution for best results.
3. Floor Stripping: Using high-powered cleaning equipment, and tools we deep clean the tile/grout, extracting all dirt and grime that usually seem permanent. Tough stains are treated with targeted solutions, using scraper blades if needed for unnecessary wax/tape. At the same time baseboards get tackled removing black marks and dirt/grime.

1. Prepping Floor: Once all the stripping is done, we go over the entire floor with plain cool water with a splash of neutralizer using a mop or auto scrub for best results.
2. Patience: Let the floor completely dry for a solid half hour to an hour depending on the size of the room, using fans to speed up the drying if needed. We then go around and mark entry/exit ways with signs and caution tape to warn that waxing is in place keeping someone from stepping in fresh wax or slipping.
3. Waxing: We make sure to have the right amount of wax on hand so that it can be applied all on the same day. Applying 1 coat at a time allowing the first coat to dry for at least a good hour, using fans if needed. Apply the second coat once it is dry and allow 20 minute cure times for each coat after that. We wax a minimum of three  coats and determine if more coats are required as each one cures.

* We recommend setting up a Buffing plan afterwards to maintain your floors shine and quality. Must apply within 14 days after getting your floors freshly waxed.
